Cherry Cake

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavouring
1 tsp. lemon flavouring
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup warm milk
1 1/2 cups floured cherries
( use some of the flour in recipe)

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time, beat
until fluffy. Mix in flavourings. Combine dry ingredients
together and add alternately with the warm milk. Fold in
cherries.
Bake in a lined tube pan in a 325*F oven for 1 1/2 hours or until
done (when cake tester inserted into centre comes out clean.)
