Christmas Cherry Shortbread

1 cup butter
2 cups flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
yolk of 1 egg

Cream butter and sugar. Fold in egg yolk and add flour. Stir and knead mixture until soft and pliable. Cut with cookie cutter into desired shapes.
Garnish with red and green cherries.
Bake at 375*F until golden brown.
